On Aug. 18, members present voted overwhelmingly for a logo that signifies both the man-made culture and the natural resources that make up Southern Nevada. Museum employee Wes Southerland designed the core of the logo, while Friends member Joan Whitely added the lettering that adapted it for Friends use. Our mission is to promote museum programs by raising community awareness & funds!
Please remember that the Friends retain rights to all entries; some of the finalists may be used down the line, if we create customized items for fund-raising projects.
